Charlotte's Little Black Dress: Fitness and Fat Loss Success!

How many of us love (or long to) slip into the quintessential "little black dress"?!!! Read how Charlotte, who used to wear a size 22W, used some variety in exercise techniques to realize HER dream of a size 4

After your August FitDream Ezine article about high-intensity interval training, I have been experimenting with high-intensity intervals in my biking. I have also done further reading, especially about fat loss and nutrition.

Well, (HIIT) I have been experimenting with high-intensity intervals in my biking. I have also done further reading, especially about fat loss and nutrition. After only 3 weeks of HIIT biking I am seeing a noticeable difference in fat loss, especially subcutaneous abdominal fat! I am near the end of my weight loss but still have obvious fat deposits. I realize that time and patience will be needed for the final frontier, but it is exciting to see and feel the difference in these stubborn areas after a short time of applying these principles.

At this point I am doing 3-4 T-Tapp workouts (at least one long per week, other days either a short workout or alternating first half/second half of Ladybug or Beg/Rehab), then 20-25 minutes bike rides with several 20-30 second intervals, 2-3 times per week, with Sundays completely off. I am following my body's lead in eating and am finding that I naturally want whole grains, veggies, fruits, and lean meats, with no more cravings for diet colas.

And you know what? Last night I tried on a gorgeous size 4 little black dress to wear to special night event, and in the dressing room I had college girls telling me, "you need to buy that dress!" So I did!
